Grab your wellie boots, your bucket and spade and your binoculars, it’s time for an outdoor adventure on five of Ireland’s Atlantic islands!

Our offshore islands provide some of the most stunning scenery and wildlife that Ireland has to offer. For the first time, five of these wonderful islands have come together to provide a weekend of outdoor fun and adventure for families, singles and couples in these special places.

The programme of events includes dolphin-spotting boat trips, sea-shore foraging, wildlife and bird-spotting walks, star-gazing, local food and craft demonstrations and evenings full of céilí, craic agus ceoil! And it’s all FREE!

You can also take part in Island BioBlitz 2016 – where wildlife experts and members of the public join forces to see which island can record the most species of wildlife over a 24 hour period
