Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Ireland Centre Conference – Thursday January 30th 2014

We are pleased to announce details of the next open meeting to be held by the Irish Centre of the Chartered Institution of Wastes. We extend a cordial invite to you to attend this event, which is to be held on Thursday January 30th 2014 at the Tullamore Court Hotel, Co. Offaly. This seminar will focus upon the topical issue of litter management, enforcement issues and techniques, best practice examples and the use of IT techniques. Copies of the presentations will be available to delegates after the event.

The conference has been endorsed by the Department of Environment, Community & Local Government, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Local Authority Services National Training Group.

The seminar which will be addressed by key department officials is aimed at all industry sectors including elected members, street cleansing managers, waste enforcement officers, local authority area engineers, litter wardens, community wardens, administrative staff, environmental health officers, environmental consultants, street cleansing solution providers, equipment manufacturers, interest groups and other relevant / enthusiastic parties. This conference will have much of interest for everyone and should create for lively debate.

In addition, a number of solution providers with respect to cleansing equipment and products will also be exhibiting at the conference. This will enable delegates to network to discuss issues and share solutions etc.

The cost of attendance at this event is €65.00 for members and €130 for non-members. If more than 2 fee paying delegates attend from one company / organisation, we will offer the 3rd and subsequent persons at a discount rate.

Please note that accommodation, if required, must be arranged directly with the hotel. A special rate of €69 per night B&B has been negotiated by CIWM with the hotel.
