Cork City and County Councils are inviting all people with an interest in cycling in Cork to attend two Public Consultation events.

Cork City and Cork County Council are preparing a Cycling Network Plan for the Cork Metropolitan Area that aims to establish a comprehensive, high quality and consistent cycling network to cater for a variety of cycle trips across the City and surrounding suburbs.

Public Consultation

We are holding two public consultation events and require your views on:

* Opportunities for new routes;

* The current cycling network;

* Possible route upgrades; and

* General comments on cycling experiences in Cork

All people with an interest in cycling in Cork are invited to attend.

Venue and Date:

Consultation Day 1- Atrium, Cork County Council, County Hall, Carrigrohane Road, Cork:

Tuesday 20th January 2015, 11:00am-4:00pm

Consultation Day 2 – Atrium, Cork City Council, City Hall, Anglesea Street, Cork:

Thursday 22nd January 2015, 11:00am-4:00pm

Should you not be able to attend, we would still greatly appreciate your views on the Cork Cycling Network and any additional information you would like considered in the identification of required infrastructure.
